The Tigers (9-0) enter the game seeking their fourth consecutive outright NCAC championship, their third consecutive victory against the Little Giants (8-1) and their second consecutive undefeated regular season.

Since their first meeting in 1890, these two schools separated by only 30 miles have established a rich legacy of fierce competition and athletic excellence. Wabash currently maintains a narrow edge in overall wins (65-57-9), with six of the last seven Monon Bell games being decided by one score or less.
