Harriet Thompson Moore has performed solo and symphonic works with many orchestras throughout the United States, including the North Carolina, Duke University, University of North Carolina, and Indiana University symphony orchestras. She has recorded numerous CDs with â¹û77¸£Àû and Indiana State University faculty.
She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and both Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees in Harp Performance from Indiana University, while studying with Susann McDonald. She also studied with Nancy Allen at the Aspen Music Festival and with Odette LeDentu at the Schola Cantorum in Paris. An active freelance performer, she is Principal Harpist with the Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra. Moore joined the School of Music faculty in 1989.
