Peter studied abroad in the Global Health and Development Policy Program at the School for International Training in Geneva, Switzerland. During that time, he conducted an independent study project and wrote a paper titled “Health Literacy Skills of Aging Populations and Its Impact on the Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease.” He interned at the World Health Organization and at the Harvard T.H. Chans School of Public Health.

Sharon Crary, Ph.D., Duke University. Global Health Program director. Awarded the U.S. Health and Human Services Award for Distinguished Service on the Ebola response team in 2002 and â77’s G. Bromley Oxnam Award for Service in 2014.
Colleen McCracken Renick, Ph.D., Indiana University, Health professions adviser.
Mamunur Rashid, Ph.D., Bowling Green State University. Worked as a statistician at an international nonprofit, where he supported medical doctors and social scientists on health and population research. Switched to teaching to continue learning and create a good environment for students.
Naima Shifa, Ph.D., Bowling Green State University. Has supervised numerous students as they conduct research. Received a Great Lakes College Association grant to study a public health issue.
