Art & Art History

Art & Art History

Engage, critique and shape culture with programs in art history, design studies, studio art and museum studies. Studio courses stress the fundamentals of visual communication and help you cultivate the technical skills to effectively express your ideals in a given medium. Art history courses combine the traditional and non-traditional approaches to the study of art – past and present – and focus on the social and cultural contexts of art and architecture.

Learn to create original contemporary art and develop independent research projects; heighten visual literacy, critical thinking and problem-solving skills; and expand your abilities by exploring diverse cultural perspectives.
